ModafinilCat Is Back Online, But It’s Not a Comeback
The ModafinilCat website used to be one of the easiest Modafinil vendors to recommend. It was fast, reliable, and simple to use. If someone asked where to buy Modafinil online, ModafinilCat was always on the shortlist.
Then one day it just disappeared.
No warning. No statement. No goodbye post. The Modafinil Cat closure looked like a classic mystery. People guessed everything from payment issues, to a registrar ban, to legal trouble, or an exit scam. Nobody actually knew what happened to ModafinilCat.
And for a long time, there was no way to find out.
What Actually Happened When ModafinilCat Shutdown

Once you know the FBI condition, the new setup makes perfect sense.
Because the site cannot legally run a real store, the revived version has been repurposed to forward prior customers to another legitimate vendor, ModafinilXL:
- The “products” on the site are ModafinilXL products.
- When you try to buy anything, checkout happens on a different site, like ModafinilUSA.
- The Contact page shows the email address of a ModafinilXL sister store
So yes, the domain is active again. But it is not a return of ModafinilCat. It is a referral channel designed to keep the domain alive, keep the FBI satisfied, and safely reroute traffic to alternate trustworthy vendor.
Who Is Operating ModafinilCat Website?
I have to be honest here. I am not quite sure, but there are only a few realistic options:
- The original ModafinCat team, operating under the new restrictions
- ModafinilXL
- A third party
Most likely it’s one of the first two options.
Legally, it hardly matters. Whoever is behind it is stuck with the same limitation: no direct sales on the ModafinCat domain.
Is This a ModafinilCat Scam?
No. It is not some sort of Modafinil scam.
All purchase attempts will be redirected to a ModafinilXL sister store. ModafinilXL has been a trusted vendor for many years now.
It is not stealing payments, blocking refunds, or pretending to fulfill orders it never ships.
It is simply a traffic redirect from ModafinilCat to ModafinilXL.
But it is confusing.
To anyone who remembers the old vendor, seeing the branding again makes it look like a resurrection.
Will the Real ModafinCat Ever Return?
Not on the original domain.
I strongly doubt it at least. Technically once the domain expires, it’s possible the FBI clause will no longer be in effect. Unlikely.

Otherwise scammers would have tried to capitalize by creating clone shops.
