• Readable typography, strong color contrast, and logical structure.

What I do

• Structure: semantic headings, ARIA landmarks (header/nav/main/footer), descriptive link text.
• Keyboard: full keyboard navigation, visible focus states, skip-to-content links.
• Media: captions/subtitles for new videos; transcripts for audio where provided.
• Images: informative alt text; decorative images marked appropriately.
• Forms: labels, clear instructions, and programmatically announced errors.
• Color & text: sufficient contrast; text resizable to 200% without loss of content.
• Performance: lightweight pages to reduce cognitive load.

Testing & review

• Assistive tech: NVDA/JAWS (Windows), VoiceOver (macOS/iOS).
• Automation: axe and Lighthouse checks on new or materially updated pages.
• Manual: keyboard-only navigation and zoom/reflow tests.
• Cadence: re-check key templates every 6–12 months or after major changes.

Compatibility

• Current and previous two major versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.
• Responsive layouts tested on iOS and Android.

Some embeds and components are provided by third parties. I select accessible options when possible and note limitations when they exist.

Known limitations

Legacy posts may lack captions or transcripts. I’m updating items progressively. If you rely on a specific asset, I’ll prioritize it on request.
