⚠️ Modafinia Crucial Update

Do NOT do business with Modafinia as of now. Customers are being ghosted by customer support, they are facing account lockout issues, and Modafinia’s listed email address is no longer working. (Full details below)

Disclaimer: I am not labeling Modafinia a scammer because I don’t know if this is a technical error, or if it’s intentional. I am actively monitoring this situation and will update the community accordingly.

Who is Modafinia?

Modafinia was a trusted Modafinil vendor for years. As of now consider Modafinia high risk.

Unfortunately, the Modafinil industry is volitile and things can change quickly. That’s why I operate this website — to keep readers informed, prevent scams, and help people find legitimate sources.

🕵️ What’s Happening

  • Modafinia’s email address on  ([email protected]) is nonfunctional.
  • Customers report not receiving any order confirmation emails.
  • Customers are losing account access.
  • Password reset emails are not being sent.
  • I was contacted by multiple readers experiencing these problems, which led me to investigate.
  • I personally attempted to log in to my account and was locked out.
  • Creating a new account doesn’t help — the temporary password is supposed to be sent via email, but that email never arrives.

These are major red flags. Even if the issue is technical, it means orders and customer data aren’t being handled properly. I’ve attempted to reach Modafinia through multiple channels and received no response.

At this stage, it’s unclear whether this is an internal server/email issue or a potential vendor shutdown/exit. I’ll continue trying to make contact and will post updates if the situation changes.

🧭 What You Should Do

Avoid purchasing from Modafinia until further notice. If you’ve already placed an order, do not send additional payments until you confirm that the company has fixed its communication system.

Their TrustPilot page was also banned and their socials are dead, which adds to the concern.

Now let’s get to which Modafinil vendors are still reliable and trustworthy.

📧 Technical Verification: Modafinia’s Email Is Not Working

To verify whether Modafinia’s email system is functional, I ran several DNS and network-level tests.

1. MX Record Lookup:

nslookup -type=mx modafinia.com

Result:

modafinia.com mail exchanger = 0 _dc-mx.2c31524aae48.modafinia.com.

This _dc-mx prefix is a Cloudflare placeholder, meaning there’s no actual mail route configured behind it.

2. TXT (SPF) Record:

dig txt modafinia.com

Result:

; <<>> DiG 9.20.13 <<>> txt modafinia.com
;; global options: +cmd
;; Got answer:
;; ->>HEADER<<- opcode: QUERY, status: NOERROR, id: 62885
;; flags: qr rd ra; QUERY: 1, ANSWER: 1, AUTHORITY: 0, ADDITIONAL: 1

;; OPT PSEUDOSECTION:
; EDNS: version: 0, flags:; udp: 65494
;; QUESTION SECTION:
;modafinia.com. IN TXT

;; ANSWER SECTION:
modafinia.com. 300 IN TXT “v=spf1 +mx +a +ip4:5.189.187.xxx ~all”

;; Query time: 109 msec
;; SERVER: 127.0.0.53#53(127.0.0.53) (UDP)
;; WHEN: Tue Oct 21 00:40:46 EDT 2025
;; MSG SIZE rcvd: 92

This confirms their IP (5.189.187.xxx) was once authorized to send mail — but doesn’t confirm inbound mail works.

3. SMTP Connectivity Test:

curl -v telnet://_dc-mx.2c31524aae48.modafinia.com:25

Result:

* Host _dc-mx.2c31524aae48.modafinia.com:25 was resolved.
* IPv6: (none)
* IPv4: 5.189.187.xxx
* Trying 5.189.187.xxx:25...
* Connected to _dc-mx.2c31524aae48.modafinia.com (5.189.187.xxx) port 25
(fish: Job 1, 'curl -v telnet://_dc-mx.2c31524aae48.modafinia.com:25' terminated by signal SIGSEGV (Address boundary error)

Although the port opens, the server never responds with an SMTP greeting (220 mail...). That indicates no active mail daemon — the connection opens to a dead socket.

Disclaimer: I censored the last 3 digits of Modafinia’s IP for privacy purposes. Although it is public information.

🕵️ What Does This Mean About Modafinia’s Intentions or Situation?

Right now, we don’t know. What we do know is that Modafinia’s email server isn’t working, and that means orders, payments, and support messages may not even be reaching them. Until there’s clarity, do not place any new orders.

Here are the possible scenarios:

1. Technical Problems (Best-Case Scenarios)

  • Their email host could’ve banned them for being in a sensitive niche, which happens sometimes.
  • They might’ve moved hosting or changed DNS settings and never properly reconnected their mail server.
  • Their mail daemon might’ve crashed or been misconfigured, meaning the server accepts connections but doesn’t actually deliver anything.
  • Or they might’ve lost access to their email routing service and haven’t re-provisioned it yet.

Any of these could explain the outage, but letting a communication failure like this sit for two weeks (as of 10/21/2025) isn’t normal for a functioning company.

2. Bad Signs (Worst-Case Scenarios)

  • They could be abandoning operations but still leaving the website live and taking payments.
  • Their systems could be dead, meaning payments are accepted but never recorded.
  • Or it could be a slow exit, where the site quietly takes a few last sales before going dark — something that’s happened before in this industry.

Until Modafinia fixes their communication and confirms they’re still operating, treat them as high-risk and don’t send them any money.

🔗 Modafinia Possible Connection to HighStreetPharma

Disclaimer:

I am not positive at this point if HighStreetPharma is connected to Modafinia. This is something I’m still confirming. I did make contact with HSP a few days ago and . I will update this article accordingly. Until then, I advise readers to avoid both vendors.

Possible Connection:

I have seen ample evidence that Modafinia is run by the same company that operates HighStreetPharma. HSP is another Modafinil vendor that popped up at the same time as Modafinia.

HighStreetPharma is also not responding to customer support emails. At least to the official email address listed on their site. I have tried to contact them through multiple channels as well.

By default, with the probable connection between Modafinia and HIghStreetPharma and the lack of communication from customer support, both vendors will be downgraded to high risk on all my vendor ranking tables.

Both vendors show the same red flags — non-functional support emails, broken contact forms, and identical product listings. Their social media posts use the same graphics, captions, and layout style, and at one point they even promoted each other’s accounts on Twitter.

Reddit users have also connected the dots. Several threads mention that HighStreetPharma runs multiple accounts to promote themselves, often cross-posting fake “customer reviews” about both HSP and Modafinia. In fact, moderators on certain subreddits have banned the word “Modafinia” entirely because of the amount of spam and astroturfing tied to that name.

On top of that, HighStreetPharma’s review footprint doesn’t add up. They have over a thousand five-star reviews on a little-known site called TechMoreReviews — more than any legitimate vendor in the space — while most large, verified review platforms like TrustPilot and SiteJabber show overwhelmingly negative feedback. That kind of discrepancy only happens when reviews are being manufactured or imported manually. Meanwhile, users on Reddit claim they’ve received replies from Gmail addresses instead of official domain emails — the same behavior now seen with Modafinia.

It’s entirely possible that both brands are controlled by the same team and share the same failing infrastructure. Until one of them comes forward to clarify or fix their systems, I’m treating Modafinia and HighStreetPharma as “Risky” vendors. I would not trust them with my own money, and I can’t in good faith recommend them to my readers.

💬 My Response and Advice to Readers

As a result of everything outlined above, both Modafinia and HighStreetPharma have now been officially downgraded to “Risky” status in my vendor ranking table.

That rating means exactly what it sounds like — I do not trust either vendor with my own money, and I strongly advise my readers to stay away from them until there’s proof that they’ve restored communication, resolved customer issues, and rebuilt their reputation.

“Risky” does not automatically mean “scam.” It means there’s too much smoke and not enough transparency to recommend them safely. When a vendor’s support emails don’t work, their contact forms go unanswered, and their social media looks like it’s being run by the same team as another vendor already facing complaints, it’s simply not worth the risk.

If either Modafinia or HighStreetPharma fix their systems, respond to customers, and prove they’re still legitimately operating, I’ll revisit their ranking and update this article. Until then, I suggest all readers avoid both vendors entirely and stick with the trusted, verified options listed below.

I’m also actively working on a full, separate vendor review of HighStreetPharma. Once it’s complete, I’ll update this post with a direct link for readers who want the full breakdown.

📨 If You Have More Information: Contact Me

If you have additional information about either Modafinia or HighStreetPharma — whether you’ve been in contact with them, successfully placed an order, or believe you’ve been scammed — please reach out and tell me your story.

Every detail helps me keep this community informed and prevent others from getting burned.

🔚 Conclusion

✅ DNS records exist (so emails don’t immediately bounce)
❌ No functioning SMTP server — emails are accepted at DNS level but silently dropped.

That means any message sent to [email protected] appears to go through, but never actually reaches an inbox. Customers and affiliates are sending messages into a black hole.

On top of that, their TrustPilot page was banned. I will continue my efforts in contacting them and hope they sort out their issues. Until then, here are the best alternative vendors:

Bottom Line

Something is very wrong on Modafinia’s end. Whether it’s a server crash, email outage, or full shutdown — it’s unsafe to buy from them right now. I’ll keep monitoring and update this post as soon as there’s confirmed news.
