Micro Summary If You Don’t Want to Read Full Article

Eric, the owner of ModaPrimeUSA, announced that he had lost complete access to his domain. His former shipping partner, “G,” took over the brand and has since been operating it through ModaPrimeUSA.org. Customers have continued receiving orders without reported issues since the change.

ModaPrimeUSA: The Full Story

Last month, ModaPrimeUSA customers received an unexpected mass email from the owner, Eric, announcing that he had lost access to the site and warning people not to place any more orders.

ModaPrimeUSA.com remained online with a complete redesign, and customers continued to report receiving orders.

Then the original .com went offline and ModaPrimeUSA.org appeared, operated by someone signing emails as “G.”

So What Happened to ModaPrimeUSA?

Was ModaPrimeUSA hacked? Who is running the modaprimeusa.org site? And is it a scam?

This wasn’t necessarily a conventional hack, but rather a messy internal dispute that ultimately changed who controlled the operation.

I’ve spoken back and forth with both parties involved, Eric and G, and their accounts differ significantly on exactly what happened. So it’s taken time to piece everything together.

But to understand how things got to this point, let’s establish who ran ModaPrimeUSA and how it operated.

How ModaPrimeUSA Worked Before the Split

For the bulk of the last 4 years, MPUSA has been a 2 man team.

First, we have Eric, the owner and longtime face behind the brand. He managed the website and server, handled payments and invoicing, financed and maintained product inventory, communicated with customers, and ran virtually everything behind the scenes.

Then there was G, Eric’s shipper, whose role was much narrower.

The process typically worked like this: a customer would place an order, Eric would handle the invoice, payment, and customer communication, and then pass the order information to G, generally through a batch list. G would package the order and ship it.

That was essentially how ModaPrimeUSA operated for nearly four years.

According to G, he eventually became unhappy with how orders were reaching him. He wanted orders to bypass Eric and flow directly from the website to him for fulfillment, arguing that the existing process was causing delays.

Over time, that frustration grew into a much larger dispute over access and control.

The Dispute That Changed ModaPrimeUSA

What began as frustration over how orders were being handled eventually became a much larger conflict over control of the business.

According to Eric, G gradually began taking control of different parts of the operation and attempting to run the business himself. Eric maintains that this was not consensual.

G tells a very different story. According to him, Eric agreed to step back and relinquish control of the brand.

As G assumed more control, Eric says the operation began deteriorating. He reported increasing delays, orders that were not reaching customers, and other problems that left him concerned about where the business was headed.

Eventually, Eric says he decided he could no longer have his name associated with the operation. He believed G would ultimately damage the reputation ModaPrimeUSA had built over the previous four years.

Eric Announces ModaPrimeUSA’s Closure

That brings us to the point where Eric sent the mass email announcing that he no longer had control of or access to the website and warning customers that it was not safe to place orders.

He also clarified that customer login data had not been compromised because it was stored separately through WooCommerce.

Ultimately, the email announced the closure of ModaPrimeUSA under his control.

G’s Takeover of ModaPrimeUSA.com

By the time Eric sent the mass email, G had full control of the ModaPrimeUSA.com domain and had completely redesigned the website.

Confusingly, customers continued reporting that they were still receiving their orders during this time.

ModaPrimeUSA.com Disappears, ModaPrimeUSA.org Appears

Then, roughly a week and a half to two weeks after Eric’s email, ModaPrimeUSA.com abruptly went offline.

At the time, it was not immediately clear what had happened to the domain. I reached back out for clarification and learned that Eric had regained control of ModaPrimeUSA.com, which forced G to move the operation elsewhere.

G gave a different explanation, claiming that he stopped using the .com because the domain had become “unreliable.”

In practice, the transition was almost immediate. G moved the same redesigned website to ModaPrimeUSA.org, with little to no noticeable downtime between the two domains.

I also checked the domain records and found that ModaPrimeUSA.org had been registered back in July, roughly a month before the .com went offline.

Is ModaPrimeUSA.org a Scam?

I’ve been monitoring the new ModaPrimeUSA.org operation closely since the transition.

That includes following Reddit discussions, watching for customer complaints, and hearing directly from members of my Telegram community who have placed orders.

Granted, it’s only been a couple months at the time of writing this, but I have not seen a single report from anyone failing to receive an order or experiencing any sort of major issue. I haven’t even really seen a complaint at this point.

From everything I’ve seen so far, no, I would not call ModaPrimeUSA.org a scam. G does appear to be at least attempting to operate the brand legitimately and fulfilling orders, even through the chaos.

My View on the Situation

Although I have not seen evidence that ModaPrimeUSA.org is operating as a scam, I also cannot say that I consider the operation trustworthy yet.

G has only been running the business independently for roughly a month and a half to two months. For me, that simply is not enough time to establish a reliable track record.

I generally want to see at least six to twelve months of consistent operation without scam reports, major fulfillment problems, or other serious issues before I am comfortable treating a vendor as established and trustworthy.

Everything may look fine today, but that does not tell us how the operation will hold up over time. Unexpected problems can surface, especially when someone has recently taken over responsibilities far beyond their previous role.

Because of that, I would rather let this situation play out and see where things land.

Before the split, I considered ModaPrimeUSA one of the top domestic vendors in the U.S. market. Under G’s independent operation, however, I now treat it as a brand-new vendor with no established track record.

For that reason, I personally would not place an order at this time, and I would not recommend it to readers yet.

Alternative US Modafinil Vendors

While the ModaPrimeUSA situation continues to develop, I recommend using a more established US option. These are the three alternatives I would consider right now.

Best Overall

ModaBoost

ModaBoost is my best overall US option right now. They have been the strongest combination of reliability, stock consistency, customer support, and domestic shipping speed.

Best Pricing

ModaWhale

ModaWhale generally offers the best pricing. They occasionally have issues with delays, so I recommend emailing support to confirm current stock and shipping times before placing an order.

Most Flexible Payments

ModafinilXL

ModafinilXL is more expensive than the other options, but they are reliable and offer flexible payment methods. They are a strong alternative if payment convenience matters more than getting the lowest price.
